The Northern Peninsula Family Resource Centre Inc. is an organization that was formed in May of 1999 as a result of the announcement of the National Child Benefit Provincial Reinvestment Plan. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors that is made up of representatives from Health, Education, Municipalities, Justice, Community Groups and 50% consumers.


 Resource Mother Position Available,
Employment Opportunity Resource Mother (St. Anthony) Permanent 12 hours per week Healthy Baby Clubs provide support and assistance to women during pregnancy and after their baby is born, focusing on healthy eating and active living. Responsibilities: • Providing help and support to prenatal women • Assist in the implementation of Healthy Baby Club • Practical arrangements with respect to running a Healthy Baby Club (ie. Organizing guest speakers, planning a topic, preparing snacks and dispensing a food supplement) • May be required to make home visits. Qualifications: • An experienced mother that values cultural differences • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Good computer skills • Work flexible hours • Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle • Previous experience in childbirth education or nutrition is an asset but not essential Salary at $ 14.17 per hour.
